Lol, Sandra, have I created a monster. Those are all good. You don't have to use a zig zag edge. As long as your edge is finished. Last month, on my frog shaped card, I just used a straight stitch. And last night on Pinterest, I saw a postcard that was finished with straight edge stitching and "pinked" with pinking shears. They were cute! I sure hope we haven't scared you off after only 1 month in the swap.

Pam P, the "crayon" affect is when you color the postcard and heat set it with your iron. Don't forget to use a paper towel on top of the crayon to be "melted". Otherwise, your iron is going to be very messy. You can use applique or thread painting with this affect also. To highlight or give more details.
