I don't have an embroidery machine but I would be worried about overquilting a quilt.
I bought it recently and am in the process of doing my first quilt with it - I am using the plain stipple, and I love how it looks (large size stippling - not anything that could overquilt). I am having a learning curve (I forgot to flip the design once) but it is so exciting to make my quilt look like somebody who knew what they were doing quilted it. I have to use the small size of her design to fit my 6X10 hoop, but once you get going, it is pretty easy!
