I cut my accent strip 3" I pin it in place (along the body of the pillowcase) unfolded and stitch an 1/8 inside the pressed fold. You can see the white stitches where the arrow points to. Then I continue the rest of the "burrito" procedure.
I, too, love this idea. I also like the decorative stitch idea but this is faster! I will be trying both for sure. Thanks for the idea.
