Default Making a quilt for someone who has a different idea of what's pretty

My daughter and her family were here for Independence Day. She wants a new quilt for my 11 year old grandson's room. They looked through my many books to pick out a few patterns that I am willing to make and will adapt to the size they need. She and I have very different ideas of what is pretty. I have drawn off the quilts in EQ, colored everything white, exported the pictures to files and emailed them to her. Since she likes to color (the new thing for adults who can't quilt, I guess), she can color them like she wants them. I can tell her the yardage and let her get the fabric.
She's in Dallas and can find somewhere to shop for fabric. I have to buy all mine on-line since there isn't a store closer than 50 miles away for me.
