Welcome to SC! No quilt shops per se in town, but the sewing machine stores carry fabric. Simpsonville is not far with Marietta's. Landrum has Elaine's Attic, worth the drive. Especially if you just go right on up after the Landrum Quilter quilt club, which actually meets in Gowansville. PM me if you Gowansville doesn't show up on your GPS.
Meets 2nd Thurs every month at 9:30.
And Mary Jo's is only an hour and a half drive...
