I finished piecing all of my hexagons and have them laid out on the table. I wish there was a simple way to put a thin black sashing around each hex, but I'm afraid I'd end up pulling my hair out... so will just go with it, as is. I will be seperating a few blocks into halves, to fill in some of the voids on the top and bottom edges, and then put solid triangle fillers in the voids on either long side. That should work.
