I love this idea with the fabric squares and crocheting. Another project to keep in mind! I bought that skip blade - thanks to somebody on the board, that is how I heard about it. The project the board member did and which I also did after her recommendation, was a fleece blanket, skip blade, and then crocheted around the edge of the fleece blanket however many rows to your desire. It really looks nice and my daughter appreciated the gift.
