I washed a Bear Paw quilt last Saturday, for the first time. The quilt has a white background and each of the bear paw blocks is made with a different red from Moda's Crazy for Red by Minnick & Simpson and one of those reds in the backing. I used four Color Catchers in the wash and while all the Color Catchers came out medium pink . . .not a speck of color transferred to the white background. Yes, I was sweating bullets waiting for the machine to stop LOL.
