Default Second Try - 1910 Red Eye at Thrift Store.

I tried to edit the first post about "Close; but no cigar, or penguin" but the post had timed out. Then I tried to delete it; no luck.

So, I'm going to try to repost the photos correctly. Could someone delete the first posting for me?

--- Look what I saw at a GF thrift store!

I'm sorry about the photos I took them with my iPod, and had to post them to this site with the iPod, and I can't seem to rotate them. Now I'm on the desk top trying to "fix" them.

It's model number is GO 463379. According to the Singer site it was made on June 2, 1910 - 105 years old. Is that correct? They say it's a Class 15-; I thought it was a 99. What do you think?

It's a treadle, and the 7-drawer cabinet, Red Eye machine, and a drawer-full of attachments is all going for $75.

The belt is broken, and the little curved piece between the spoked hand wheel and the post of the machine is loose. It has 7 or 8 bobbins in one of the drawers, bobbin case, needles, most of the original owner's manual, etc.

The Penguin walking foot is no where to be seen.

Well - once again I can send the photos from my iPod to the desktop, and rotate them, but they won't post from my desktop to this site.

It's a lovely machine. I'm sorry I can't share it!
