I have done several jelly roll races and cross hatching is my choice. On the right side measure down 10 inches from top corner, on left side measure up 8 inches from bottom corner. Connect the two points with stitching and stitch next rows the desired widths. I have used 1.5' to 2' and sometimes vary them for just a bit more interest. Your quilt is great! Love the colors.
