What a neat block pattern. You don't see the effect until you piece four blocks together. Thanks for all the links and explanations. The drawing from pinterest link where it is broken down into quarters illustrates how you could make this block any size you wanted by just dividing it into quarters and drawing your lines.
I'm sure you could cut this by using templates or angles on your ruler but paper piecing would take care of the issues with bias edges stretching.
