I agree that some sellers push the "vintage/antique" angle without really knowing current trends and values. - unless there is some provenance/evidence/notarized documentation as to a previous "very famous" owner that would make it a very special prize to own, it is definitely way out of range.

I can think of many other machines that I consider "prizes" that would warrant a high price.
