Need help with damp, mildewed fabric
Hi all,
We are in the process of moving and resettling. On the day we moved some things into storage , it was pouring. I had a piece of fabric unfortunately in an open plastic bag inside a box It was damp when I unpacked it and had some wispy strands of mildew in a few spots. I hung it up on a porch out of sunlight. Should I just wash it with regular detergent and check it? This was specially ordered for a gift and I felt sick when I found it this way.
