I have no idea how many yards of fabric I have, but I'm afraid to even attempt to figure it out. I don't even want to count the totes, however, I'm sure my DH has and he wants me to get rid of most of it, which is not happening. I purged when we moved from a 3 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom apt. where I have a small sewing "area" in my bedroom and probably gave away nearly half of my stash, which was extremely traumatic for me. I inherited my sister's fabric when she passed away suddenly at 72, and I hadn't even begun to sort through it when we had to start packing for the move to MA, after 33 years in our home in NH, where we brought home our daughter when she was barely 4 weeks old and our son was 2 1/2. Granted, our son, his wife Jen and our DGD Zoe live just 3 miles from us now, we don't get to see them as much as we would like, and Zoe is now 5 years old and starting Kindergarten in Sept.
