Morganfam7, I love how your Giant Swoon is coming. I'm not very good at math either. I do know, the rule is that you have to add 7/8 if your going to cut your squares into triangles. So, 5 7/8" squares pieced into HST's should finish to 5". Is there someone on her who can confirm this or offer better advice.
