I think it depends upon how much it will bug you. If not much, do as others suggest and just ease it in and go on! If it will bug you, I would pick out the sashing seams one evening while washing TV, and resew them with a slightly larger seam allowance.
This sounds good, if your 2" squares are correct size you would have to u sew only one square trim and re- sew. This is really why I usually do not cut everything before I begin..not a big problem it you cut too large as too small... Of course you know just how I know.
