It's really hard to answer that question. Some of it depends on why you are thinking about making the quilt - because you want/need the money, want to help someone out, just enjoy the process... I know it can be really hard to estimate how much time it will take you, but PaperPrincess is right that it's a good way to charge if you're doing quilting as a business.
