Thanks for the info and observations on the Red Eye. I'm kinda excited to get it but it will be next summer before they come back this way. I seriously did not need another machine but couldn't pass it up when I saw the pictures. I also have an old Singer hand crank with the wood dome cover. It's so neat! They really knew how to make machines back then.
