I do like working with smaller pieces. Even when i am doing a large quilt, i usually work with smaller blocks. I keep telling people that it is easier to sew straight for 2" than 8". Really i can't seem to acquire accuracy -- either cutting or stitching. I like to work with blocks that can be sized down for better accuracy. My goal is just to improve over time (and i think that i do). Second nature it ain't... At least not yet.
