This is my version of Shimmer Braid .... a 5 month QAL from Dreamworthy Quilts by Deana Jennings.
I changed the middle blocks to fans and the small center one was an 8inch block from AJ Padilla.
Apart from worrying about my colour choices and not having enough grey batiks, I enjoyed putting this quilt-top together.
The instructions were so well written, I did not have to rip even one seam!! THAT is a miracle for me!
I still have to do the borders and maybe some extra fans as a last border, so that it will fit our king-size bed.
