I was chatting with a Paducah winner one year and she had won multiple awards before for her quilts. She said she put Misty Fuse on the back of every quilt top and backing to keep the top smooth and no stretching at all during the quilting. I use lightweight fusible on any fabric that will have bias cuts. And I use it on background fabric before appliqueing. Great stuff.
