Greetings,
This is my 5th hand pieced quilt. All I have done in the past is 9-block quilts, outlining (hand quilting) the seams at a 1/4 inch. I don't want to take the easy way out on this quilt. I am not very artistically inclined (the pattern came from Eleanor Burns, Star Log Cabin Quilt), so I have no clue as to whether curves, straight lines, stippling, etc., would be the best choice, and why.
I am seeking opinions on what design this quilt deserves -- and what color thread. Providing the reasoning behind your opinions would be immensely appreciated.
