Any suggestions??
We have a local Child Protective Service Community Quilt Project group in our guild that I organized in 2001. All tops donated to this charity are completed by various members who would rather quilt and bind that cut and piece..therefore, everybody gets to do their favorite step in the quilting process. We work closely with a four county area and donate the quilts as needed sorted by gender and age ranging from infants thru teens..it is rewarding to provide these children with something that belongs to them after trauma has uprooted their lives. We sew a label in place and write the first name of the child using a permanent marking pen. It has been a great community service for our guild.
