If you lay it flat, like on a bed or floor and can make the light source from one side, like windows on one or two sides of the room and take the picture with no flash you can often get great shots of the quilting. Please tell us more about this beauty.
It is machine embroidery. The background is white blocks that are first stippled and then the black designs are embroidered. The butterflies and birds are all embroidered. The first sashing is done in the hoop. I added the black and white sashing and border and black binding. The pattern is Anita Goodesign.
