I have another use for the rolls. If I need to divide a quilt border for quilting, or other reason, I cut a strip of the tape the length of the quilt. Then I fold the tape in half, again, again and again until I have equal sections to mark off. I can then mark the tape folds onto the quilt. I can also measure each section and use that measurement as I need to.
