They are 2" finished half square triangles. 80 blocks. It started out as a cleaning of the sewing room project. I had 3 boxes of batik scraps and wanted to thin them out. Ha Ha, now I have even more. I used as many of the scraps as I could then went to buying lots more batiks. Used the multiple half square triangle method as much as possible. Thanks much for all the comments. Glad you enjoyed it. I will enjoy it on my bed until they bury me. I used a wool batting. Oh, you have never slept so comfy as you will under a wool batting quilt. Took me about 6 months of sewing every day to piece the quilt. I'm a bit obsessed with sewing little bits of fabric together. It was a pattern from McCalls Quilting magazine Oct. 2011. Loved the pattern so I saved it. I think it measures 82" by 102", a queen sized quilt.
