son's GF brought me some mending to do for her and a quilt one of her clients had rec'd after Katrina that she needed to have mended. there are 12 green squares in the quilt made of a material that frays easily and most of them have frayed so seams are coming apart with no seam allowance to work with on the green squares. only one solution---raid my stash for another material in green to replace those 12 squares. bit more work but only way to really save quilt.
