I couldn't resist the cabana huts kit at Golden Needles in Rockport, Tx and I knew I didn't really want to try to do eight row by rows so I went shopping.
I found the under the sea kit at B & B Quilts in Buda, Tx and thought, YES! Two rows. I also found the aquarium kit at Simple Sewing Solutions in Lockhart, Tx. Still, I wanted it to be longer so I added another row of cabana huts and the helicopter and balloon row at the top. All new for me and I wasn't sure I was up to the challenge of the fishes and sea horses.
So, I had a blast searching and finding new quilt shops. Three I didn't even know were there within 45 minutes of home and a new favorite shop. My first time with the Row by Row Experience and it was fun, fun, fun.
i plan to embellish this top with buttons; eyes for the fishes and sea horses, buttons in the seaweed, flip flop buttons in the sand, a crab if I can find it and possibly a frog in the hot air balloon when the quilting is finished.
