I have one, it is about 10 years old and the 200 model is now discontinued. Mine was purchased for general sewing well before I got into quilting. My previous machine was a much older used one (~1950s model) that I got for free, picked up from the side of the road. This machine was bought after that old one died and I wasn't a poor student any more, but I don't have any experience with newer or fancier machines to compare the 200 model against.
I think it runs well, it is low maintenance. It has a few fancy stitches but mostly just the basics. It seems solid and keeps a good stitch. I wouldn't pay much for a used machine unless I knew it was stored someplace dry and not abused.
