Thanks for all of your warm fuzzy responses! The pattern i used was triangle frenzy runner by bunnie cleland and it's made with a 60 degree triangle. There seemed to be similar patterns to this one on the Internet when I googled 60 degree triangle patterns. This pattern requires border print fabric for the magic to happen and maybe a little fussy cutting if you only want to use a specific section of the fabric. The overall effect is pretty nice no matter what border print is selected.
