I live about 20 miles from Gastonia, Yes, I have been to long Creek mills, that is what it is called but actually it is just a store, not very large store at all. They do have wall to wall thread. It is tucked away on the west side of town on a little side street. They have a lot of thread and crafts. good prices. Also in the little town of Kings Mtm. which is only about 8 miles away from there is a cloth shop called Carolina Cotton. They sell nothing but cotton fabric. It is so amazing and again good prices. they also do online orders.
