I buy minced garlic to keep in the fridge that I use quite often and I have garlic powder that I use quite a bit as well. Never garlic salt. Don't need the extra salt. I use fresh garlic cloves when I make dill pickles, but I rarely have any left over to use for anything else and I never think to buy any at any other time than pickling time.
