I agree with this one. And wanted to add: don't cut your borders at the beginning of a project. And especially, don't randomly decide that the pattern you spent hours & hours creating suddenly has bad math, cut your fabric 10" shorter & then get the thing made only to find you actually were​ supposed to have it 10" longer.
