The machine came with 2 free motion quilting foots, the one is slightly bigger than the other. Is it just personal preference as to which one you use? There is also a compensating presser foot. I tried to use it once and the fabric won't feed through. Not sure what to use it for. Any other tips for general use would be greatly appreciated.
This is a great machine, imo. Either of the two FMQ feet can be used for FMQ. They have different diameters for echo quilting.
The compensating foot is your 1/4" foot w guide. The fabric should butt up against the side of the guide as you sew. Having it beneath the guide will hinder stitching.
Enjoy the machine; I love mine!
