Smile Star Quilt Top Finished!

Here's the finished quilt top. Like in everything I do, there were again many "firsts" on this quilt: First time PP, first time using spray starch (love it!), first time using border prints, etc. The border print is original Jinny Beyer. It was a 3 meter piece I stumbled upon in a fabric market in Chiang Mai, Thailand. They had a huge pile of discounted fabric (because they were the last bits on the bolts). Everything else on that pile was much cheaper quality, local fabric, but everything was sold for about USD 3/meter - what a steal!

Working with border prints did prove more challenging than I expected... So I'm only going to show you a close up of the corner that turned out best:

Thanks for looking!
