does it have the darks and lights separated properly?

What = the quilt turning out or the Vikings winning!!!!!! Edie
the vikings won. the blocks - not so much.
The 4x4 block has a light triangle on the upper right and the dark triangle on the lower left. It falls into place right. I just didn't want to get myself over-confused by matching up the triangles with the row above or below it. It 24 rows long and 18 blocks across. This is the first time I have done something like this and I just don't know if it is kosher quilting or something a person who isn't totally in the know about quilting would do (like me!). Edie
