Here is my Janome 1600 P-QC and my Janome 8077. You can see one of my singers hiding under a cover. I also have a Janome serger and a Singer from 1952 that runs like a top!
I took the pic of them side by side when I first got the 1600. Amazing what a couple inches of throat can do to the size.
