Years ago I loaned a pattern to a friend. She moved out of state taking pattern with her, and I never heard from her again. Don't loan if it's a pattern you may use again.
I had the same thing happen to a pattern that I used tons. It was a pajama pattern with feet that I used for my kids. The pattern was discontinued and she didn't answer my letters asking her to please return it.
