ClairVoyantqQuilter I purchased two so I could have one formy piecing and regular sewing and the other for FMQ. They are bothabout the same for throat space (which isn't that generous but, better than some) but the 2010 is better suited for a quilt framethan the F600. I plan to save for a quilt frame down the road. SinceI do some other types of sewing, I wanted the fancy stitches of acomputerized machine yet I also wanted the FMQ benefits of the 2010model. The Janome would have covered both of these bases but foralmost twice the amount of money around here based on the only dealernearby (and that was my original dealer who was not giving me a gooddeal AT ALL. I really just don't want to do business with them everagain). So, that is the reasoning behind two.
