The amount of quilting is determined by the batting choice-- you might ( think) a quilt is under quilted that might have batting which allows 10" between quilting lines, or a fleece/ flannel middle layer that allows pretty much as little as you want. Some batting needs to be quilted every 2" - 4", then needs heavier/ denser quilting. Unless I know what batting they are using, I would not ( assume) they haven't done enough. If you see one you ( think) might need more you could ask what batting they used First, before giving an unsolicited comment.
