Default I Have a Personal Story

I saw a quilt top here with a pretty big mistake and wondered if I should private message the person before it gets layered and quilted.
What do you all think? If I am polite in pointing it out privately?
Soon?

Thanks for your advice.
Here's my story. I brought a quilt to sew on at my guild meeting. On the front I had embroidered a scripture. This was an art quilt, and a friend couldn't relate the scripture to the quilt. That's because the scripture was wrong! How glad was I that she caught the mistake! I had to rip out the applique and the embroidery and do it over. It wasn't a problem because it hasn't been quilted yet. What a life saver! !!
