I bemoaned not having a design wall like I had at the house before I moved to an apartment. Finally I decided on a quick fix. I bought two flannel backed vinyl table cloths at the dollar store.(Actually the backing the tablecloths is more like a very thin polester batting, but 100% cotton sticks just fine.) I used clear shipping tape to tape them to the wall. They fell off. Dugh, the tape doesn't stick to fabric. The easy fix for this was to pin the tape to the tablecloth. It worked and was not nearly as expensive as the insulation board I used on my previous design wall. I cannot stick pins directly into this wall like I did the old one, but it sure helped when I made a "zig a zag" quilt.
