The most I've paid for any of my Featherweights is $220. I don't mind if the machine looks like it has been used. I love thinking of the history that the machine has lived through. The least I've paid is $100, both for machines that "didn't work" but that I was able to get running, one very easily and the other with 5-7 hours of work over the course of a week. The most I've paid is $220 plus shipping, and I love that one because it had an address label taped to the inside of the case lid with the name and address of (I presume) a previous owner. I looked her up online and found out she died in 2013 at age 95 with no children or other survivors. She was of the age to have bought this machine when it was new. So fun to think about the history in front of you! I also have two Kenmores in cabinets that I use when I'm machine quilting (not very often) or for assembling bigger quilt tops. I'm amazed that some of you are able to sew with the FW on canvas! I haven't managed to get mine to do that -- probably the wrong needle size. $200 sounds very reasonable to me!
