I'm thinking that the borders are reallygoing to make it “pop” and pull it all together so you won't haveto worry at all about the top row. Especially because the style andcolors lend themselves to a modern feel so it is going to have thatModern Art vibe where things don't need to be balanced andsymmetrical and will really stand on it's own.
Absolutely don't say it was an error. It's not. This is not a typical pattern where there is a certainlayout or format that has to be followed. A DP9 is about expressionand your own preference..as is much of quilting. That's what I loveabout it! There is no “wrong”, just ability andpreference...like all of art, it is an expression of the artist.
