I LOVE the PIQF! It is always on or around my birthday (Oct 16). Unfortunately, this year I can't go. I had surgery on an infection in my foot in July and it is FINALLY nearly closed, but I have not been able to walk on it since the surgery. I see the doctor again on Oct 14, and he told me to bring my shoes and my walker. I will have to use the walker for a week or so, then a walking stick or cane before I can "solo". A good friend of mine offered to push me around the PIQF in a wheelchair, which is so kind of her, but I said no. Maybe next year. Anyway, have a great time! Usually, after I have looked at all the quilts on display I am simultaneously inspired and discouraged. I want to go home and throw all my machines and such in the trash. I am not this caliber of quilter, but I get inspired to BE that kind of quilter. Enjoy the PIQF, get great deals and get inspired!
