Default A Worn out Quilt

Made this quilt for DD when she was in grade school or first year high school - don't really remember exactly. The Blue/green/yellow marbled fabric must be rather low quality because she had pulled the top of the quilt apart. I appliqued leftover quilt squares and fabrics over it but the disintegration continued. Last year she strip-pieced the top board and sewed it over. Now the rest of the quilt needs mending because the fabrics are so worn.
I really don't feel like fixing it again. Should I? I don't think it is worth my time.
Of course she has used it every night since she received it that Christmas. She is now 25.
It was machine pieced and quilted.
