I just use my regular iron for foundation pp'ing. I set up a small tray table (read - old 'tv tray') next to my sewing machine so I can press as I go. For EPP, I just finger pressed the fabric being folded over the paper and frankly did not worry about the seams as I was joining them. Figured as long as everything was being treated 'equally' it would all work out in the wash - literally as well as figuratively - which it did. No issues at all.
