i have use the store cardboard bolts. but i have also bought 3/4" pvc pipe cut to my desired legenth. use painters tape to start the roll then finish with 2 or 3 rubber bands to hold secure. stand the poles in a corner or in a barrel. the pvc pipe is 8' long you can iron out your center crease and roll the full width of fabric.
