Today I found both pairs on top of a pile of new fabrics - hint taken - and I have just done the alterations.
Boy, do I feel smug!
Pat realizes that if he wants pants hemmed, there is a very inexpensive and precise alteration store on his way to work. He should take them there and not bother me with "mending." I'll mend a broken heart - but on pants the seams will pull apart.....
