I can't afford to make all my purchases at my lqs. I do buy from them but I buy more online. I would have to give up quilting if I solely bought from my lqs & I'm not willing to do that if I can help it. I buy quality fabrics always but you don't have to spend top dollar for quality fabrics. You just have to shop around. If I can get the exact same fabric online for $7.00 to 8.00 compared to $13.00 to $14.00 at my lqs then most of my purchases has to be online. I realize all of the overhead the lqs have & their prices have to be higher. I love my lqs & would feel terrible if they closed so I do support them as much as I can. I just know my budget & what I have to do.
